Privacy & analytics

ClickProperty uses first-party analytics to understand visits, listing activity and how the platform is used.

  • We create a random first-party visitor identifier to distinguish unique and returning visits.
  • We may process the visitor IP address to estimate country, region and city for traffic analytics and language selection.
  • When hosting or CDN location data is unavailable, ClickProperty may use ipwhois.io to obtain approximate IP geolocation.
  • Raw IP addresses are encrypted at rest and automatically removed from analytics records after 30 days. Aggregate and pseudonymous visitor statistics may be retained longer.
  • Language choices are remembered for 30 days for guests. If you are signed in, your chosen language is saved to your ClickProperty account until you change it.
  • Traffic geography is approximate and is used for platform analytics, security and service improvement; it is not precise device location.
